What limitations would exist if one did not bolt the HP impulse to the floor? Would it be unsafe? I ask this because the area where I would like to place the impulse is a concrete floor. Also is it easy to move an unbolted hp impulse a couple feet, so one could like put it in a corner after use? |

There would be no danger in operating an impulse that is not bolted down...this is because most of the energy from the operator would be lost or dissipated as the machine moved around...you don't have enough weight or people to hold an impulse when someone is really good and going at it.
The energy an impulse produces is quite substantial...far greater than free weights or bands. Often exceeding 300foot pounds per rep at 2.5 to 3 reps per second (900 +foot pounds per second)
I suggest you bolt it to the floor in that corner you were talking about. Concrete is an excellent medium. you could unbolt... it but the bolts would be there sticking out of the concrete.
